A game development competition hosted by HeroMotoCorp where the participants had to develop a drag racing game with the features specified by the organizers. It was an online hackathon consisting of two rounds: the ideation round and the prototype. Each round lasted a month and we were allowed to make a submission for the entire duration of the round.
The competition aimed to develop a drag racing game featuring a particular model of the motorcycle made by Hero MotoCorp, in particular the Xtreme 160R. The submission requirement for each round was a PowerPoint presentation describing the game for the ideation round and a PPT as well as a demo video showing the actual prototype with in-game graphics and gameplay.
For my submission, I developed a game using Unreal Engine 4 with graphical assets developed using Blender. Furthermore, I defined game logic using blueprints, a visual scripting language as opposed to C++ as it can be implemented and compiled in a short period.
